The A Bathing Ape Bape Sta #2 Black Patent is a low top black patent sneaker from the BAPE STA #2 line produced by the Japanese streetwear brand, A Bathing Ape.
The BAPE STA line boasts bold and vibrant designs, and this colorway is no exception. This is a #2 presenting in a shiny black and white patent leather colorway. The main focal point of the shoe is the white shooting star on both side panels made from smooth leather. You’ll notice a perforated toebox to keep feet cool, as well as a black midsole that will not show scuffs and scrapes. Various branding is seen throughout the shoe, from the embossed heel logo in white to the white and black patch sewn on the tongue.
In our opinion, the two subtle Bathing Ape head logos are standout elements. There is an embossed logo near the lateral heel and another one in the form of a silver lace charm. Released on April 30, 2024, the A Bathing Ape Bape Sta #2 Black Patent retailed for $300.
