The aesthetic of the GA140BMC-1A, featuring a sizable outer case similar to G-Shock’s iconic GA-100 and GA-110 series, highlights the dial display, which was inspired by electronic instruments from the 1990s. The GA140BMC-1A’s dial offers three subdials: a digital time display at the 12:00 position, an analog speed indicator at the 3:00 position, and a date display at the 6:00 position. A variety of other LCD displays populate the dial, recalling vintage digital electronics.
In our opinion, the best feature of the Casio G-Shock GA140BMC-1A is its black color palette with pops of bright neon hues, which makes it a rugged basic with added appeal. The Casio G-Shock GA140BMC-1A released in 2019 and retailed at $99 upon release.
