The New Era x Takashi Murakami A-Frame Trucker Flag 9Forty Hat Black is a cap made as a collaboration between the premium headwear brand and the Japanese artist.
This iteration of the New Era x Takashi Murakami A-Frame Trucker Flag 9Forty Hat has a black background color, and the back half of the hat is made of mesh for increased airflow. The front of the cap is solid black fabric with a New Era logo. The logo is adorned on the inside with a colorful design from Takashi Murakami: smiling flowers in different shades of yellow, pink, purple, and blue. A smaller white New Era logo is embroidered on the side, and dual branding is found above the adjustable strap on the back.
What we like most about this hat is the way that Murakami’s design is seamlessly incorporated into New Era’s branding. The New Era x Takashi Murakami A-Frame Trucker Flag 9Forty Hat Black released on January 1, 2022, for $52.
