The Nike Kobe 5 Protro Year of the Mamba Eggplant celebrates Kobe Bryant's legacy with a design inspired by the elegance and wisdom of the snake in Chinese culture. Wrapped in a stunning metallic purple upper, the sneaker exudes power and poise, while black accents and a translucent outsole add layers of depth to its aesthetic. The iconic swoosh is accented by a golden snake that appears on the side of the upper, paying homage to Bryant's Mamba mentality both on and off the court.
Engineered for performance, the Kobe 5 Protro combines cutting-edge cushioning with a supportive fit. The addition of snakeskin details along the heel and upper adds texture and character to the design, while its streamlined silhouette ensures agility and speed. Perfectly balancing style and functionality, this pair is a tribute to Bryant’s enduring influence in sports and culture.
Set to release on January 9, 2025, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro Year of the Mamba Eggplant will retail for $190. Whether you’re on the court or collecting for nostalgia, this sneaker is a celebration of Kobe's legacy and his transformative spirit.
