The Nike Kobe 8 Protro Court Purple (GS) celebrates NBA player Kobe Bryant and the 20 years he spent playing for the Los Angeles Lakers through symbols and signature colors.
Like the adult-sized version, the GS Kobe 8 Protro Court Purple displays the numbers ‘8’ and ‘24’ across the upper in a repeating pattern. ‘8’ represents Kobe Bryant’s first jersey number and ‘24’ is the jersey number he switched to in order to celebrate his growth. The numbers come in Court Purple and stand out against the sneaker’s white mesh base. Other details also come in Court Purple, including the laces, stripes on the heel, the signature, and the Swooshes.
Our StockX experts like the semi-translucent outsole that supports the carbon fiber shank plank beneath the arch. The grade school-sized Nike Kobe 8 Protro Court Purple (GS) was released on February 8th, 2024, and retailed at $120.
