The adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 Purple Burst is an ultra-sleek basketball shoe, with an extremely forward-looking design. Its kaleidoscopic color scheme immediately stands out from the rest.
Part of the Donovan Mitchell signature collection, it has all the hallmarks of top-class adidas basketball shoes. A key feature is the adidas Lightstrike technology, which creates an exceptionally lightweight midsole that's also extremely responsive to sudden changes of direction. Combined with a comfortable padded upper, this puts these shoes in the same realm as other adidas basketball icons.
Our experts rate these shoes very highly for their performance on court. They provide superior lateral support without the need for a high side wall. This gives a low-profile basketball shoe that provides a high degree of flexibility while still imparting stability. An accentuated midsole gives excellent arch support too. The adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 Purple Burst retailed at $120 upon its release on 5 July 2024.
