The Under Armour HOVR Summit Fat Tire is a radical, maximalist "road-to-trail" hybrid that blends high-performance running tech with the rugged utility of mountain bike tires. The design features a technical White/Enamel Blue-Beta palette, utilizing a breathable textile upper with a massive, lugged Michelin rubber outsole for superior grip on any terrain. Released on October 1, 2020, for $170, it is powered by a full-length HOVR foam midsole for responsive cushioning and impact absorption. Our experts commend the bold experimentation; it successfully challenges the boundaries of traditional performance footwear, prioritizing maximalist form and technical utility. It’s a "go-anywhere" tool that successfully blends UA heritage with cutting-edge tire technology, prioritizing both functional toughness and a bold, non-conformist aesthetic for the modern adventurer.
