Kanye West has released a bunch of boots through his Yeezy line over the years. The Yeezy Desert Boot Season 7 Oil is one of the many boot options he unveiled during his run with adidas.
This Yeezy Desert Boot was said to be inspired by both the Yeezy 500 sneaker and the military boots so often worn by soldiers throughout the world. It featured a mesh upper with brown suede and nubuck overlays to give it a rugged look and feel. It also included features like a large reflective tongue pull and thick laces to make it more durable. It was finished off with a chunky black rubber outsole that had big grooves in it to provide proper traction.
This boot was a departure from some of the other footwear included in Yeezy’s Season 7 collection, but that was a big part of what our experts appreciated about it. It didn’t immediately look like a Yeezy shoe, but after inspecting its details more closely, it was clear that it belonged in the Yeezy lineup.
