The Nike Air VaporMax Plus Spirit Teal takes the sole unit of the VaporMax and the reinforced upper of the Air Max Plus to create a stylish and functional hybrid sneaker with the best of both worlds.
The shoe features a unique teal colorway that combines black with a gradient teal theme. The black covers the lace area and overlays on the shoe while the gradient teal theme can be seen across the upper complemented by geometrical patterns. The sole unit incorporates VaporMax technology which consists of individual air pods strategically placed across the underfoot to keep the shoe lightweight while also providing targeted cushioning with every step.
A stand-out feature on the Nike Air VaporMax Plus Spirit Teal is the TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) overlays which wrap around the foot to provide extra support and stability while adding to the overall aesthetic. The shoes were released in May 2019 with a retail price of $190.
