The Nike Mercurial Vapor, 13 Elite FG Cleat Black, is a soccer cleat or football boot featuring a monochrome Black color palette. Nike is a sportswear brand known for advancing athletic shoes and its commitment to sneaker technology development.
The upper is done in Flyknit, featuring the Nike Swoosh in shiny Black, which extends from the heel to the toe box. A Black lace panel and clear and Black cleats solidify the monochrome look, and Merc branding is printed on the inner heel. With the Mercurial Vapor 13, Nike has added features like the forefoot's Nike Aerotrak zone and a reinforced chassis for added traction. The Mercurial Vapor 13 also features insoles with NikeGrip, which add traction below the foot and cushioning.
Our experts feel that the Vapor 13's best feature is its NIKESKIN overlay, which aids with ball contact in all weather conditions. The Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 Elite FG Cleat Black was released on July 1, 2019, and retailed for $250.
